Glenn was the president of the lawn mower racing association. He enjoyed building projects and cutting firewood for the community. Glenn loved the Navy and retired as a twenty year veteran as Chief Petty Officer, Navy EOD. Glenn also retired from U.S. Plywood after twenty plus years. Since camping was another one of Glenn’s enjoyments, he owned and managed a RV Camp in Salome, Ariz.
Glenn is preceded in death by his parents, Ruth and Elwyn Armstrong, a son, Glenn T., wife, Francis, who he dearly adored, four siblings, Ruth, Gurtrude, Katherine and David (Tug). Surviving Glenn is six siblings, Homer, Blake, Gene, Notan, Johnny and Joe. Glenn is also survived by his children, Marie, Ramona (Terry), Elwyn, Mary (Robbie), Debra (Larry), Rocky (Melissa), Betty and Hobert (Laura). Glenn was loved by 34 grandchildren and 59 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at Brown Mortuary Chapel, Morton on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at 11:00 A.M.
