Nancy Marie Sawyer

Nancy served as the Library Manager for Mountain View Timberland Library in Randle for many, many years. Sharing in Nancy’s passion for books were her best friend and co-worker Mary Prophit, along with co-worker Judi Brummett. Nancy loved her library patrons like they were family, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Nancy enjoyed fishing, gardening, and spending time with her family, including her beloved dog Alli.

She is survived by her husband Gerald Sawyer; daughter Angie Sawyer, grandson Aaron McNew; daughter Shanna Sawyer and husband Jason O’Brien; son Ryan Sawyer; mother Leo Carbaugh; brother Chuck Frost; sister Raylene Suter and husband George, nieces Amanda and Courtney; sister-in-law Shirley Haag and husband Bill, nephew Alec.

Nancy was preceded in death by her father Ray Frost, and her in-laws Don and Yvonne Sawyer.

Memorial services for Nancy will be held at 2pm, Friday, August 21, 2015, at Brown Mortuary Service Morton Chapel. A potluck reception will immediately follow at the Bob Lyle Community Center, 700 Main Street. Potluck dishes can be dropped off at the Bob Lyle Center prior to the memorial service.
