Heaven received an angel today. Norman was the best father, grandpa, papa, husband, and brother anyone could ask for, and he had the biggest heart.
Norman enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and going to the beach. He enjoyed picking wild blackberries and cutting wood. He loved following his grandchildren and great-grandchildren’s sports teams, and he proudly served our nation as part of the US Army during the Korean War.
Norman is preceded in death by his loving wife of 47 years, Geneva (Lambert) Clevenger; and his brothers, Bill Clevenger, Bob Clevenger, and Lowell Coleman.
He is survived by his children, Brenda (Scott) Demarest, Mark Clevenger, and Diana Clevenger; grandchildren, Brian (Nikki) Demarest, Hiedi Demarest Cade, Nicole Clevenger, Cory Clevenger, Jeannie Snow, Jason Clevenger, and their families; his four step- grandchildren and their families, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Norman touched many people in his life. He will be greatly missed.
A service of remembrance with military honors will take place at 11 AM on Saturday, July 28th, at Morton City Cemetery in Morton, WA. Following the service, Norman’s family would like to invite friends and neighbors to Jubilee Park for a potluck gathering. Arrangements are under the care of Brown Mortuary Service in Morton.
