Dad, from the time I was born that was the name I knew you as for the 30 years we spent together on this earth. It is the same name I will remember you by for as long as I live and and the same name I will know you as when I finally meet up with you and mom one day. I know there was a TON of stuff you were wanting to accomplish while still in physical form and even though you are not able to, I will try my best to follow through with the thoughts and ideas we shared. You may be gone but are no where near forgotten nor will you ever be. You are an inspiration to me, and as I strive to be somewhere on the level of a man you were I hope you and mom are watching and guiding me as I make my way through the cruel and at times short time we are allowed to remain upon this earth. Rest in Peace, you and mom. And don't wait up for me, because like always you know we'll be together soon enough.

I can picture it now, but later in my life decades from now near the end, I'm walking down a long gravel road reflecting on the life I lived, and the loves the losses, and then all of a sudden a pitch black Chevy comes blasting pass, all the cylinders pumping like a thousand horses stampeding by, it slows down to a faint roar and out steps my Father with my Mom in the passenger seat , there they stand the man and woman who gave me everything, and they smile, but in till that day I'm doing what they wanted me to do, live and love! My Father was the greatest! Toughest man I will ever know, He  Thought me so much, how to be a man, always do whatever is right, never base my good fortune off of others bad, and I can only try to live up to the man he was!
