Wallace (Wally) Elmer Williams, 91, passed away on December 1, 2012 in Bellevue, WA. Wally was born on December 11, 1920 in Enumclaw to Andrew and Bessie Williams. He graduated from Enumclaw High School in 1939. In April of 1944 he joined the Army and served in Europe during World War II. After the War he returned to the Pacific Northwest and in 1952 he began his long career at The Boeing Company. He retired from Boeing on July 31, 1983 with over 30 years of service. Wally and his wife Lois were married on June 29, 1946 at Seattle Lutheran Church and raised their family in Des Moines where he built their home and attended Grace Lutheran Church. Wally and Lois also built a log cabin in Packwood and eventually moved there upon retirement. There he was involved with his church (Packwood Presbyterian), and the Senior Center.
Wally is survived by his wife, Lois; their children: Doug (Phyllis) Williams, Gary (Terri) Williams, and Debbie (Keith) Felderman; ten grandchildren; his sister Margie Park; his sister-in-law LaRene Petersen; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by an infant son, his parents, and his sister Bernice Beck.
