Althea was a lifelong resident of Moss Bluff, LA where she was a member of Moss Bluff United Pentecostal Church. She retired from Bell South.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Odell Thomas of Moss Bluff, LA; one daughter, Donna G. Thomas of Moss Bluff, LA; two brothers, Earl McManus of Conroe, TX and Kenneth Ray McManus of Moss Bluff ,LA; her grandchildren, Jason Thomas, Alicia Carlin, Angela Belshe, Yolanda Aymond, Crystal Carrier, Brandy Comeaux and Roger Dale Thomas Jr.

Visitation will be held at Hixson Funeral home of Moss Bluff on Thursday, January 14, 2021 beginning at 5pm until 8pm and will resume on Friday at 9am until the time of service. Funeral Services will begin at 10am on Friday at the funeral home where Rev. Jared Pugh will officiate. Burial will follow at Bird Nest Cemetery.
