Barbara Gail Johnson

Gail was born on April 14, 1957 in Lake Charles to Carlin and Mary Jane Sonnier. She was a member of St. Theodore Catholic Church. She was a bank teller for most of her career. Gail loved life and was happy and outgoing always helping others. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, James seeing many sites throughout the USA and her dog. Gail loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her loving husband of 24 years James Johnson; daughter, Brandy O'Quain and husband Terry of Merryville; step daughter, Lindale Lockhart and husband Carl of Moss Bluff; step son, James Johnson Jr. and wife Dawn of Iowa; six grandchildren; mother, Mary Jane Sonnier; brother, David Allen Sonnier and girlfriend Liz Doucet of Moss Bluff; and sister, Melissa Frazier and husband Hank of DeQuincy. She was preceded in death by her father, Carlin James Sonnier.

Visitation will be Sunday, October 19, 2014 at Hixson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff from 9am to 2pm with a Rosary at 1pm. Her funeral will be Sunday at the funeral home at 2pm.
