Beatrice Rachel Kibodeaux

She served as Jr. Vice President of Topsy VFW for 12 years and was currently a member of Moss Bluff VFW. She was a member of St. Theodore's Catholic Church.

Survivors include daughters, Dorothy Willis and husband, Leamul of Moss Bluff, Pearl Prejean of Moss Bluff and Susan Rice and husband, Michael of Moss Bluff; sister, Helen Kratzer and husband, Leroy of Roanoke; 12 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 21 great great-grandchildren. She is survived by 6 sets of 5 generations.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Rufus "Tex" Kibodeaux; son, Lasti Kibodeaux; daughter, Judy Brunet; 3 sisters and 1 brother.

Her funeral will be 11am, Friday, November 9, 2012 at St. Theodore's Catholic Church. The Msgr. Charles Dubois will officiate. Visitation will begin Thursday, 4pm-9pm with a Rosary at 6pm at Hixson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff and resume Friday 8am until service time. Burial will be in Frye Cemetery.
