Carey Dale Farquhar

He was a native of Lake Charles, LA. and a lifelong resident of Moss Bluff, LA. Carey Dale graduated from Sam Houston High School Class of 1965. He was also a member of the Christian Faith and a member of the Carpenter’s Local. Carey Dale enjoyed studying his Bible and witnessing the Word of the Lord.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son; Daron Farquhar and wife Christie of Gillis, La.; his daughter Tonya Farquhar; his brother Monroe Farquhar and wife Peggy of Moss Buff, La.; his sister Joyce Cole and husband Richard of Gillis, La.; two grandchildren; Ethan and Charlie, and three nephews; Randy, Kirt and Scott.

Carey is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Ronald Farquhar, sister Avaughn Frye, and his nephew Richard Lynn Cole.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 am Saturday, June 18, 2022 until time of service at 1:00 pm at Hixson Funeral Home Chapel in Moss Bluff, La. Reverend Cary Ladner will preside. Burial will follow immediately at Hopewell Cemetery in DeRidder, La.
