Cathy was a longtime Counselor and Prayer Warrior at Christian World where she developed an 8 step program. Cathy received her training at Therapon Institute. She was an amazing artist and photographer. Cathy loved to go back to Colorado to visit her family and see the mountains!
Cathy was preceded in death by her daughter, Leanne Herbert, her parents, and a brother-in-law, Richard Herbert.
Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Randall Herbert; two sons, Ryan Herbert (Yari) and Joshua Herbert; grandsons, Kane and Levi Herbert; sister, Cheri Jacobs (Daryl); sister-in-law, Kayla Bordelon (Glen); nieces, Lerae, Jenna, and Andy-Nicole; and nephews, Jon and Jacob.
Visitation will begin at 4:30 p.m until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 10, 2026 at Hixson Funeral Chapel in Moss Bluff. Visitation will resume at 8:00 a.m. until time of service on Monday at the funeral home.
Funeral Service will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 11, 2026 in Hixson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Snider officiating. Burial will follow in Westlake Memorial Park Cemetery.
