Chong was originally from South Korea and had been a resident of Moss Bluff for over 40 years. She had a passion for cooking and loved preparing meals for her friends and family. Known for her caring nature, Chong always made an effort to treat everyone with kindness and warmth, leaving a lasting impression with her personable and loving spirit.
Those left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Lisa Hollis and husband Scott and Dorothy Roberts; four grandchildren, John, Charlie, and Rebecca Hollis, and Zane Blanchard; two brothers; and two sisters.
She is preceded in death by her parents; loving husband of over 45 years, John Roberts, Jr.; and one sister.
The family will welcome relatives and friends at Hixson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff on Saturday, March 29, 2025 beginning at 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
