Connie Ruth Carpenter

Connie was a lifelong resident of Moss Bluff where she was a member of First Baptist Church of Moss Bluff. She enjoyed traveling to listen to Gospel music and she absolutely loved watching her grandchildren play sports, she was their #1 Fan. Connie's favorite past time was spending time with her family.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Jo Lynn Twiner (Tommy) of Bentonia, MS., Jan Ellen Feutral (Dennis) of Brenham, TX., and Jill Graham (Clint) of Moss Bluff; son, Henry Bascum "Chip" Carpenter, Jr. (Misty) of Sulphur; brother, John Prather (Eloise) of Moss Bluff; sisters, Billie Prather of Lake Charles, Joan McDaniel (Mack) of Westlake, and Sherry Williams (David) of Lake Charles; 13 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband of 61 years, Henry Carpenter, Sr.; brother, J.E. Prather; and daughter, Patti Joy Carpenter.

Visitation will be held at First Baptist Church of Moss Bluff on Thursday, July 1, 2021 beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Funeral Services will be held at the church at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be immediately following at Highland Memory Gardens. Brother Bill Saxby of First Baptist Church of Moss Bluff will be officiating at the services.
