

He leaves behind his children; Stephen J. Duhon, wife Sherry, and sons Colby and Kyle. Sharron R. Duhon Hunt and Bobby Dupuis and daughter Brittany, Darron R. Duhon, wife Tonya and son Kaden, and Hubert Ezell, wife Angie and sons Josh and Jeremy, one great-grandson Devin.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dennis U. (Dan) Duhon, and wife Melba Broussard Duhon.
He also leaves behind his partner of many years Joyce Nichols and her children and grandchildren. Sister Yvonne Plaisance, husband Darrell, children and grandchildren. Late brother Ray A. Duhon, wife Wanda, children and grandchildren.
Ronnie attended Marion High School and earned a scholarship to McNeese Univ. in Mathematics. He lived in Houston, TX for 13 years becoming a master welder and was a union member of Ironworkers local 84. He was assigned to NASA in Clearlake Texas assisting our U.S. Astronauts in perusing their flights in space. Fishing, his tractor and trips to the casino were his pleasures. He had a zeal for life and was always ready for a “get together” to show his gift of cooking and great food. He offered a helping hand to family and friends not expecting anything in return. He was greatly loved and will be dearly missed.
Visitation will be Sunday, January 22, 2017 from 5 to 9 pm with a rosary at 6:30 pm at Hixson Funeral Home in Moss Bluff. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Monday, January 23, 2017 at 9 am until leaving for the service. A funeral mass will be at 10:00 am on Monday, January 23, 2017 at St. Theodore Catholic Church in Moss Bluff. Burial will follow the service at Old Ritchie Cemetery in Moss Bluff.
