Red was born in Lake Charles and lived in Moss Bluff. He retired from Firestone as an operator technician. He loved spending time with family and friends and cooking for them. He will always be remembered as a loving father, brother, and grandfather.
Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Deanna Reeves and husband David "Dink" of Moss Bluff; a brother, Dwayne Whittaker and wife, Dana of Baton Rouge; two sisters, Kaylene Sylvestri and husband Mark of WA, Jenny Carr and husband, Tim of IL; three grandchildren, Blaine, Shelbie and Payden. He is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Emory (Ruby) Whittaker; daughter, Peggy Colleen Whittaker and brother, David Whittaker.
