Foy Ray Yandell

Moss Bluff - Foy Ray Yandell - 68, John 16:22, and ye now therefore have sorrow; but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you, passed away January 3, 2012 in a local hospital.

He was born in Gravely, Arkansas and a native of Moss Bluff. He was a member of Westside Baptist Church. He retired from the U.S. Army and was a Veteran of Vietnam, retired manager of Operational Planning for Citgo Petroleum Co. He was a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife Charlotte Ann Yandell of Moss Bluff; sons, Timothy Yandell of Moss Bluff; Christopher Yandell and wife Robin of Prairieville; brothers, Tom Yandell of Moore, Ok; Troy Yandell of Percell, Ok; Sherman Yandell of Percell, Ok; Donnie Yandell of Texas; and Arlie Alvin Yandell of Missouri; sister, Linda Sue Yandell of Oklahoma City of Ok; grandchildren, Abigail, Nathan and Connor Yandell.

HIs service will be Friday, January 6, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Hixson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff. Rev. Luke Liechty will officiate. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Memorials may be made to the La. Baptist Children’s Home or St. Jude’s Hospital.
