Mr. Fred J. Gimbel, 83, entered into eternal rest on September 15, 2012 in a local hospital. After retiring honorably from 24 years of duty in the Air Force, he relocated to Moss Bluff where he resided for the past 37 years.
Survivors include his wife Juanita; daughter, Gail Ramirez and husband Rey; sons, Roger Gimbel and Richard Gimbel and wife Chae; brother, Wilbur Gimbel of Orlando, FL; three grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
A gathering of friends and family will be held Tuesday, September 18, 2012 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. with a memorial service at 2 p.m. all at Hixson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff. Rev. Ed Rose will officiate. Words of comfort may be expressed with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com.
