Momma and Daddy gave me your sad news yesterday evening. I am so sorry for you and your family. Seems such a short time ago when I would stay overnight at your house and you and I would come home late from a party or double date and your parents would be waiting up for us. I cannot imagine losing my daddy. You are in my prayers.

To the family of Mr. George Bass:

He was indeed a "Man's Man".
I will always be so proud to have worked with him and had him as a mentor and friend. I was what he considered to be one of "MY BOYS", a term of endearment coming from a Marine like Mr. Bass.
He taught many of us when we were very young employees, the meanings of Honor, Courage, Commitment and Intergity, to be used in work ethics and also a guide to live our life.
His "BOYS" will never forget him.
May God continue to bless his family.

Mrs. Bass, Tim, Abby, Vickie & Sandra... I am so very sorry for the loss of your husband, father and grandfather. Mr. Bass hired me at DOTD 30 years ago and I can remember asking him during my interview, I need next week off so I can go to Florida. I was scared to ask & he just looked at me and then there was that wonderful smile and said sure! He was a very intelligent engineer and a friend as well. I know he will be missed! His memories will stay in your hearts forever!
