Glenn Darrell Harrison

Glenn D. Harrison, age 76 of Moss Bluff, La. went to be with his Lord and Savior on February 7, 2017 at Lake Charles Memorial hospital. Glenn was born September 19, 1940 in DeQuincy, La. to Jack and Julia (Smith) Harrison.

Glenn was a devoted husband and father and worked for many years as an oil field consultant, until he retired in 2012.

Glenn is survived by his wife Regina Harrison of 32 years; one son, Darrell W. Harrison of Elizabeth, La.; three daughters, Glenda L. Grey (Robert) of Jacksonville Beach, Fl.; Stephanie L. Morrissey (Chris) of Nottingham, England; and Melinda G. Yelverton (Ross) of New Iberia, La.; eleven grandchildren; two sisters, Georgia H. Sutton of Lake Arthur, La. and Margia H. Rodrigue of Thibodaux, La. He is preceded in death by his parents Jack and Julia Harrison, one brother, Jackie O. Harrison and one sister, Joyce M. Harrison, all of DeQuincy, La.

To honor him in death, pallbearers will be Zachary Harrison, Hunter Dillon, Ryan Harrison, Joey Yelverton, Josh Breaux, and Clayton Raggio. Honorary pallbearer will be Dallas Harrison.

Visitation will be held at First Baptist Church of Gillis, La. on Thursday, February 9, 2017 from 5 – 9 PM and will resume on Friday, February 10, 2017 from 1PM until time of service at 3:30 PM. Rev. Glenn George will officiate. Burial will follow at Old Ritchie cemetery in Moss Bluff, La.
