Jack Thigpen

He retired from Sam Houston High School in the maintenance department after 14 years of service.

Jack is survived by his son, Mark Thigpen of California; daughters; Carol Fontenot and husband Clifton of Sulphur; Gretta Mask and husband Keith of Woodlawn; Pamela Fontenot and husband Wade of Moss Bluff; brother, Sherman Thigpen and wife Wanda of Moss Bluff; grandchildren, Tim Fontenot and wife Natalie, Caleb Fontenot, Mary Beth Fontenot, Melony Mask, Coltin Mask, Mallory Mask, Cody Mask and Caden Mask.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and resume Thursday from 8:00 a.m. until service time. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 8, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Hixson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff. Brother Allen Upton will be officiating.

Burial will follow at LeBlanc Cemetery in LeBlanc under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff.
