He was a graduate of Landry High School, where he was an outstanding athlete. Jimmy very proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He was an electrician with IBEW Local 861 for over 50 years. Jimmy was an avid fisherman and loved to hunt. He adored anything outdoors, including feeding his birds and racoons.
Those left to cherish his memory are the love of his life of 58 years, Kay Tabb Fox; daughter, Julie Fox Hebert (Jim); son, Danny Fox (Patricia); grandchildren, Brittany DeRouen (Casey), Megan Arsement (Tylor), Hayley Fox, and Isabelle Fox; great-grandchildren, Olivia and Hudson DeRouen, Sawyer Grace Arsement, Bentley James Fox, and one on the way; sister, Clarice Fox Duhon (David); brother, Charles "Chuck" Fox.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Dorothy Fox.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation from the chapel of Hixson Funeral Home, Moss Bluff, on Friday, May 21, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. A Rosary will be held at 12:00 p.m. and a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Theodore Catholic Church at 2:00 p.m.
