James Corbett "JC" Hickman

He was born in DeRidder, LA and was a resident of Moss Bluff for 56 years.

Mr. Hickman was a retired Crane Operator Foreman for The Lake Charles Stevedores and a United States Army Veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Prudience "Pouba" Miers Hickman of Moss Bluff; son, Randy Hickman and wife, Susan of Luling, LA; grandchildren, Patrick and Dana Hickman, Andrew Hickman and Fiancé', Melanie DuSaules of Hammond, LA; great grandchild, Dorothy Ann Hickman; extended family, Thomas and Martha, Brian and Andrea Bourgeois, Eric, Kerri and Trapp Hebert.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Dealie Hickman; 5 brothers, 2 nephews and 2 nieces.

His funeral will be 11am, Thursday, May 31 2012 at Hixson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff. The Rev. Ray Swift and Rev. Todd Hallman will officiate. Visitation will begin today 11am until 4pm at the funeral home and resume Thursday, 9am until service time. Burial will be in Old Richie Cemetery.
