Joseph Marion Mire

Joe was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a hardworking man who always provided for his wife and children. He was a honorable, kind, Christian man. He was the son of the late Theopha Mire and the late Emma Broussard Mire.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Neta Weatherly Mire; daughters, Michelle Mire Hutton of Ragley, LA, and Leslie Mire Simmons and husband Travis Simmons of Ragley LA; grandchildren, Mathew Hutton and wife Christina of Ragley, LA, Joseph Hutton and wife Karlie of Ragley, LA, Ryan Simmons and fiancé, Morgan Jasken of Moss Bluff, LA, Heather Simmons and fiancé Jared Kuyper of Pineville, LA, Dylan Simmons and Grant Simmons.

The family will be receiving guest for visitation Thursday, October 13, 2016 from 9am until the Memorial service which will be held at 10am, all of which will be held in the Hixson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com
