Judith Irene Reid Linfor, age 81, of Moss Bluff, Louisiana passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2024. Judith was born on Thursday, September 30, 1943 to Richard A. McCullough, Sr. and Virginia Dawn Patton McCullough.
Judith graduated from West Jersey Hospital School of Nursing and worked as a Registered Nurse at military hospitals while traveling with her husband. She also retired from Lake Charles Memorial in 1988, worked for home health agency but she still kept up her nursing license! Judith started playing piano at the young age of 12 and played piano at First Presbyterian Church in New Jersey and also played the accordian. She was very active in church ministries throughout her life, she taught Sunday School and she instilled into her children the importance of attending church and serving God.
Judith was preceded in death by her daughter, Dawn Christine Reid, her first husband, Clifton Reid, her second husband, Dave Linfor, her parents, and a brother, Richard A. McCullough, Jr.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Cliff Reid and his wife, April; daughter, Tomarro Dawn Reid Milburn and her husband, Derek; daughter, Christina Reid Benoit; grandchildren, Priscilla Dawn Reid, Charles "Casey" Buller, Courtney Ann Reid Hanks, Brittany Nicole Reid Willis, Robert Wayne Buller, Clifton Robert Reid, Kirby Forrest Buller, Katie Lynn Benoit, and Sara Dawn Buller Fontenot; great-grandchildren, Presley Bell Buller, Laney Christine Brown, Landon David Goodley, Otto Cole Hanks, Eden Jade Hanks, Romelzy Crew Willis, Romelzy Colt Willis, Klara Lynn Buller, Grace Elizabeth Buller, Robert Wayne Buller Jr, Brant Buller, Gary Buller, Tylor Casey Fontenot, Reid Wayne Fontenot, and Blayke Dawn Fontenot; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. until time of service on Monday, December 23, 2024 at Hixson Funeral Home in Moss Bluff.
Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 23, 2024 at Hixson Funeral Home in Moss Bluff with Pastor Charles Huddleston officiating. Burial will follow in Old Ritchie Cemetery.
