Lawrence Elroy Manuel

Lawrence was a longtime resident of Lake Charles and a resident of Moss Bluff for the last 18 years. He enjoyed playing bingo, gardening, canning jelly and pickles, and was a devout Saints fan. Lawrence's biggest passion was his family.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Adele J. Manuel; daughter-in-law, Doris Manuel; children, Randy Manuel, Eddie Manuel and wife Kathy, Ray Manuel and wife Tammy, Tina Schiele, Charles Manuel and wife Amy, Becky Manuel, Ronnie Manuel and wife Rachel, Missy LaBauve and husband Kevin, Denise Byler; daughter-in-law, Brandi Johnson; 30 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; and numerous brothers and sisters.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Judy Ann Manuel; son, Ben Manuel; daughter-in-law, Loretta Manuel; son, Kevin Manuel; son-in-law, Gomer Schiele; son, John D. Johnson; and numerous brothers and sisters.

The family will welcome relatives and friends at Hixson Funeral home of Moss Bluff on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 beginning at 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at 8:00 a.m. until the time of service. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. followed by burial at Hayes Cemetery.
