Linda graduated from Sam Houston High School, attended McNeese State University, and was the Owner/Operator of Ruff and Ready Day Care.
Linda was preceded in death by her husband, David Penny, her parents, Bradford and Dorothy Wood, and a brother, Bradford "Scotty" Wood.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Cade Penny; three daughters, Tamitha Pertle, Larinda Cooper, and Ginger Irby; brother, Brett Wood; sisters, Judy Wood and Molly Hagan; five grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will begin at 9:30 a.m. Monday, September 11, 2023 at Old Ritchie Cemetery in Moss Bluff with Rev. Bill Saxby will officiate.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to First Moss Bluff for God's Special Children.
