A lifelong resident of Lake Charles, Mack was known for his kind heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering willingness to help others. He never hesitated to lend a helping hand and would gladly give whatever he had to someone in need. His selflessness, dependability, and genuine compassion touched the lives of everyone who knew him.
Mack was a dedicated employee of Keith’s Paint & Body in Lake Charles, where he was considered much more than a coworker—he was family. He was the person everyone could count on, always willing to step in wherever he was needed. Whether keeping the shop clean and organized, helping with daily tasks, or simply being there for others, Mack took pride in making sure everything was in order. His quiet dedication, strong work ethic, and caring nature will be deeply missed by his work family, friends, and loved ones.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Huey Pete Solice and Deborah Sue Jones Solice, and his brothers, Don Solice, Ronnie Solice, and Russell Solice; and Ralph "Mickey” Solice.
Those left to cherish his memory include his sisters, Wendy Solice Bergeron, Jackie Solice, and Christy Solice; his nieces and nephews, Courtney Fogle, Candice Gilley, Cody Gilley, Lauren Doucet, Zach Delpapa, Emily Delpapa, Dustin Solice, Devin Carr, Lauren Solice, Justin Solice, Kaitlyn Parker and Caleb Solice; along with many dear friends whose lives were blessed by his kindness.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. until time of memorial service on Friday, July 17, 2026, at Hixson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff. A memorial service will begin at 12:00 p.m. in the chapel, with burial to follow at Old Ritchie Cemetery. Rev. Larry Lafleur will officiate.
