Margie was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin, and dear friend to many throughout her lifetime. She was looked up to by all as the role model for everything a woman could aspire to be and an inspiring example of unconditional love. She traveled thousands of miles with her husband’s work, always insisting that family belonged together, and to visit other family all over the country. She and Tom loved taking trips by motorcycle, and spending time on their pontoon boat on the river with friends and family. Margie had very special relationships with many of her grandchildren, even those who lived far away.

Family always came first, but Margie enjoyed the company of her many friends as well. Many of those friends would say she treated them like family. She was a member of Bellview Baptist Church and she and Tom attended many bible study groups there. She enjoyed being a member of the Red Hat Society for a number of years. In all the places she lived, Margie always loved having beautiful flowers and trees around her and caring for them. She was a wonderful cook and her hospitality knew no bounds, her door was always open to family, friends or anyone in need.

Visitation will be held at Hixson of Moss Bluff on Friday 13, 2020 from 5pm until 7pm and will resume the following day at Bellview Baptist Church from 11am until time of service. Service will be held at Bellview Baptist Church at 1pm, and can be viewed online at: https://fb.watch/1OFGvKu9qP/

Dearest Grandma Margie~

I am so very sad that you've left us but happy that you are in God's care now and back in the arms of Grandpap Tom, we all know you were the reason for the twinkle he always had in his eyes. Thank You for accepting me into your family and loving me like I'd always been a part of it, I will always keep you in my heart and smile fondly through my tears as I come upon your photos and recall memories shared.

We are all better people having been graced by your love, patience, much welcomed advice, amazing cooking, your sweet voice, smile and gentle touch that brought rest to us whenever we may have felt woeful. I love you beyond words and I miss you even more.
