Marvin was a lifelong resident of Moss Bluff. He attended Moss Bluff Baptist Church. Marvin loved his church. Life was an adventure to Marvin and he enjoyed every minute of it. He loved music, especially the blues and anyone that knew him would know that he had a huge, loving heart and never met a stranger. Marvin was known to strike up a conversation with anyone he may have met up with, no matter whether he knew you or not. His biggest passions were horses and tinkering, working on, and driving anything that had wheels, whether it was a bicycle, big rig, lawn mower, truck, or tractor. Marvin enjoyed looking out for a great deal and buying, selling, and trading were a huge hobby for him. He was a heavy equipment operator for most of his life and his specialty was a crane operator.
Those left to cherish his memory are his two daughters, Cynthia LeBlanc and husband Hogan of Westlake, and Sharon Bailey of Moss Bluff; one son, Max LeBoeuf and wife Susan of Moss Bluff; six grandchildren, Dustin LeBlanc, Keenan LeBlanc, Joshua Bailey, Kaci Vinson, Shannon LeBoeuf, and Thad LeBoeuf; seven great grandchildren; one sister, Fay Courrege of Vinton, and one brother, Julian Bruce and fiancé Becky of Moss Bluff.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Harvey Christopher Bruce and Stella Margaret Burks; and two sisters, Myrtis Perkins and Betty Barton.
