Mary Elizabeth Eggleston

She was born in Kelly, LA; her parents were Porter and Eva Rogers. She was an active member of First Baptist Church in Moss Bluff, LA. There she was the past prayer coordinator for Upward Basketball, group leader for her Sunday school class. She had been a charter member of Bethel Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School Teacher and taught Vacation Bible School. She loved raising her kids and grandkids.

She is preceded in death by her husband Edward N. Eggleston, Grand Daughter Stephanie Foshee, Sister Dorothy Maynor, Brother Johnny Rogers, and her parents. She is survived by Sons Vaughn Eggleston and Wife Shanna of Moss Bluff, LA and Ralph Eggleston of Northern California. Daughters Janet Foshee of Moss Bluff, Phyllis Feaster and Husband Gary of Benton, LA, and Carol Cahill and Husband Bruce of Oklahoma City, OK. Brother, Scotty Rogers and Wife Yvonne of Ragley, LA and Sister Joy Brown of DeQuincy. Grandchildren Eric, James, and Jennifer Foshee, Spencer and Travis Feaster, Ali Smith, Jessica Peery, Thomas and Scott Cahill, Cullen and Nathan Eggleston, and Myra McKay.

Her Services will be held at First Baptist of Moss Bluff on Tuesday November 22nd 2011 at 10:00 A.M. with burial being at Highland Cemetery. Visitation will be at Hixson Funeral Home in Moss Bluff Monday from 3 P.M. till 9 P.M. The family request that in lieu of flowers donations be made in honor of Libby Eggleston to ACTS 1:8 at First Baptist Church of Moss Bluff.
