She was a founding member of St. Theodore Catholic Church and a member of the Catholic Daughters and the Altar Society. She loved to visit with family and friends.
She is survived by her son, Duane Dartez of Moss Bluff; brothers, Larry Miller and wife Gail of Moss Bluff; John Pitre of Beaumont; one grandson, seven great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Gladue Dartez, her parents, one brother and two sisters.
Her service will be 10:00am, Thursday, May 29, 2014 at St. Theodore Catholic Church. Msgr. Dubois will officiate. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00pm until 8:00pm with a rosary at 6:30pm and resume Thursday from 8:00am until time of service at Hixson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff.
