Paul B Henry, age 77, known as "Manny" to his friends and family, passionately known as "PawPaw" and "Poppy" to his grandchildren, went to meet Jesus and was welcomed into his Heavenly Home, Sunday, June 17, 2018.
Manny was born December 8, 1940 to Paul L and Mabel Nixon Henry and was a lifelong resident of Moss Bluff. He was a 1960 graduate of Gillis High School, Sowela Vocational and Technical School and a retiree from Citgo Petroleum.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Mickey Busby Henry, of 45 years, a son, Paul R Henry and wife Anne of Houston, Texas; a daughter, Ceylon Henry Williams and husband Jeremy of Lafayette, his grandchildren: Jordan Seago, Haley, Andrew, and Austin Henry; David Paul, Sophia Grace and Amelia Rose Williams; great grandchildren, Lilly, Bella and Maci. Also, his sister Delaine Henry Abercrombie and husband Clark of Moss Bluff and sister in law, Gloria K Henry.
Preceded in death by his parents, sister, Joanita Henry Hadley and brother, Lale Allen Henry.
Manny will always be remembered as a faithful servant to his Lord Jesus Christ, a devoted husband, a loving father and grandfather. He was a gentle man and had a love for all.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 from 4 PM to 8 PM at the Moss Bluff Bible Church on Parish Rd. Visitation will resume at 9 AM on Wednesday, June 20, 2018, until time of service. A Funeral Service Celebrating Manny's life will immediately follow visitation at 10am Wednesday at the church. Rev. Jeremy Smith will officiate. Interment will be at Lyles Cemetery in Reeves, LA.
