Priscilla Ann Doucet

Priscilla was a native of Lake Charles and long time resident of Moss Bluff.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 52 years, Carl Doucet of Moss Bluff; daughters, Angie Reed and husband Aric of Moss Bluff and Dodi Thompson and husband Spencer of Moss Bluff; son, Shane Doucet and wife Lisa of Jennings; grandchildren, Keegan Reed, Kyla Reed, Marli Thompson, Gema Thompson, Breanna Doucet and wife Abbey, Morghan Doucet and fiancé Colby Wiersema, Brayden Doucet, Matt Cormier and wife Jennifer, and Ryan Cormier; great grandchildren, Brennan Reed, Wesley Wiesema, and Alyssa Cormier; sisters, Earlene Mayfield of Lake Charles, Cathy Lemelle of Lake Charles, Paula Lara and husband Andy of Moss Bluff, Patti Goins of Dry Creek, Annette Gary and husband Mark of Hathaway; and a brother, James White of Lake Charles.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Brennan Kyle Reed.

Visitation will be at Hixson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 beginning at 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 1:00 p.m. A Liturgy of the Word will be at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home on Tuesday. Burial will be immediately following at Old Ritchie Cemetery in Moss Bluff.
