

Mrs. Granger and her husband founded and pastored the Gillis Pentecostal Church, where she was a devoted member; talented and anointed piano/organ player and choir leader. Her ability with people was something that her husband admired and relied upon heavily. The two of them were able to be in concert with one another in their ministry. They also pastored in Ft. Smith, AR where she oversaw the women ministries and youth.
Those left to cherish her memory are her three sons, Rev. Dennis Granger and wife, Pauline of Chestertown, MD, Gregory Granger of LeBleu Settlement, and Owen P. Granger of Moss Bluff; one sister, Alice Tartamella of Lake Charles; five grandchildren, Paula Ann Granger, Dennis S. Granger II, Zachary Granger, Kristen Granger, and James D. Granger.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. James Granger; one son, Marcus A. Granger; two sisters, Jodene LeBleu and Velverie Fontenot.
Her Home-Going will be 10am Tuesday, March 25, in Hixson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff. Rev. Tim Mahoney, Rev. James Lumpkin, and Rev. David Hairford will officiate. Visitation is from 5-8pm Monday and will resume Tuesday 8am until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery, Ragley.
