Shirley LeBeouf

Matthew 5:4 - Blessed are those who mourn for they will be comforted.

Shirley Bell Jeanis LeBeouf was born on August 18th, 1939 in Church Point Louisiana to Houston and Mary Jeanis. She married the love of her life on November 26th, 1958, Hilman "Red" LeBeouf and they moved to Lake Charles to start their lives together. Shirley worked as a bookkeeper all her life and finished out her career with Bechtel Corporation before she retired. She was a faithful member of her home church - St. John's Bosco Catholic Church in Westlake, La. Shirley will be remembered for her spit-fire, take-charge personality and her willingness to help everyone. During her lifetime, she enjoyed her family and her house was always open to anyone! She would whip up a meal for you in a heartbeat. She loved working in her yard until she was 84 years old. She loved her kids, grandkids, and great grandkids and always had treats waiting for all the kids from Gannie.

She is survived by her three daughters: Angela Schultz (Greg), Cynthia Domingue (Stephen), Bridgette Wright (Bobby) and her beloved son-in-law Mark Dartez (Kathy). Sisters: Kathy Duhon, Jean Neal, Diane Pedigo, Debra Sharp and Brother, Bedford Jeanis. Sisters-in-law: Joyce Fruge and Mary Lou Richard. Her grandchildren: Bobby Wright, III, Cory Estes (Colleen), Scott Dartez (Sara Jane), Lacey Dougay (Cody), Ryan Estes (Morgan), Brandon Dartez (Brooke), Brooke Dartez (Reece), Kelly Dartez (Cole), her beloved dog - Bandit. 14 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years - Red LeBeouf, her parents: Houston and Mary Jeanis, sister: Sybil Arabie, brother: Kermit Jeanis and great granddaughter: Zoe Estes.

The family will welcome relatives and friends at Hixson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff on Sunday, March 2, 2025 beginning at 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 11:30 a.m. by Deacon Fred Reed. Cremation will follow with burial at a later date.
