Timothy Mark Harrison, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away on February 26, 2025. Born in DeQuincy, LA, on November 29, 1957, Tim was the cherished son of Van and Lillian Harrison.
Tim graduated from Sam Houston High School in 1975 and went on to have a fulfilling career.
He worked for 21 years at Citgo as a machinist, where he also served as a committeeman for Machinists Local Lodge 1317. He then continued his career as a machinist for Phillips 66 and ultimately served as the Area A Rotating Equipment Supervisor at Phillips 66. He was admired for his unwavering dedication and tireless work ethic.
Tim is survived by his loving wife, Joan Elkins Harrison, and his children;Timothy Cade (Lauren) Harrison, Samuel Wade (Fallon) Harrison, and Sarah Elizabeth Harrison (fiancé Heath Cole). He was a proud grandfather to Caroline & Catherine Harrison and Gray, Laura Kate, Charlotte, and Heidi Harrison.
He is also survived by his siblings; Michael C. Harrison, Brenda Sue Woodhouse, and Balinda Lois Cakste.
Tim is preceded in death by his parents, Van and Lillian Harrison, his infant son, Daniel Ross Harrison, his infant granddaughter, Lily Kate Harrison, and his brother-in-law, James Woodhouse.
Tim enjoyed fishing, hunting, and baseball. He will be remembered for his quick wit and his ability to make everyone around him laugh. His love for his family and his joyful spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Pallbearers will be Joshua Byrd, Max Carter, Hunter Clark, Heath Cole, Travis Cupit, David Watson, and Jared Woodhouse.
The family will welcome the public for visitation at Hixson's Funeral Home in Moss Bluff on Saturday, March 1, 2025, from 10am until 12pm. A celebration of life service officiated by Hixson celebrant Jody Tyler will be held at 12pm. Interment will follow at Oakdale Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in Tim's memory.
