Wanda G. Powell

Wanda was born in Iowa, LA and lived in Bridge City, TX. She was a member of The Truth. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Charles L. Powell; one son, Charles S. Powell; two daughters, Wanda V. Smith and Madina G. Johnson all of Bridge City TX; five sisters, Janette Gunman of Westlake, LA, Joyce Gothreaux of Metairie, LA; Ioma F. Durand of Toledo Bend, TX, Linda G. Koonce and Adele A. Manuel both of Moss Bluff, LA; ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

Her funeral will be at 2pm Saturday, August 24, in Hixson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff, LA. Millie Robinson, Charles Vaughn and Fe Gatan will officiate. Visitation is from 5-9pm Friday, August 23 and resume Saturday 9am until service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Ritchie Cemetery, Moss Bluff, La.
