William "Dave" "Buck" Rollie Davis

William "Dave" "Buck" Rollie Davis, age 78, of Moss Bluff, Louisiana passed away on Friday, February 7, 2025. William was born in Leesville, LA. He was born on November 10, 1946 in Leesville to John A. Davis and Ivide C. Smith Davis.

Dave was a native of Leesville and resident of Moss Bluff. He was a proud United States Marine with over 20 years of service and retired as a Master Sgt. Dave enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and cooking. His greatest passion was spending time with his family and his dog "Pig".

Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Brandon James Davis and fiance Jennifer; daughter, Courtney Davis; seven grandchildren, Kaden, Reece, Everly, Sabrah, Shailee, Samiah, and Kyce Davis; six great grandchildren; siblings, Sue Nell McPherson and husband Larry, Dave Davis and wife Connie, Nila Ezell and husband Dana "Brother-in-Law"; companion, Polly Clark; and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

The family will welcome relatives and friends at Hixson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 beginning at 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 6:30 p.m. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. with a funeral service to begin at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Central Louisiana Veteran's Cemetery in Leesville.
