Almeda Ann Poth

Almeda Ann Poth, age 84, of Moulton, Texas passed away on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at Schulenburg Regency Nursing Home. Almeda was born December 24, 1936 to Elsie Nauman Ivy and Joe Ivy. A native of Cistern, Almeda was a longtime resident of Moulton, and was retired from assisting with her first husband at Jurica's Used Cars, she worked with Kasper Wire Works, and was a full time homemaker.
Almeda is survived by her daughter Debbie Stryk of Sealy, Texas, step-son Ted Poth (Sherri) of Katy, Texas; and her step daughter Audra Spann (Noel) of La Grange, Texas; her 6 grandchildren, Austin Spann, Colby Spann, Alix Poth, Abi Poth, Ashton Poth and Addison Poth.
Almeda was preceded in death by her first husband Eugene Jurica; second husband Arnold Poth; her father Joe Ivy and her mother Elsie Nauman Ivy; and her five brothers.
A visitation for Almeda will be held Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at 9:00 AM at Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church in Moravia, Texas. A funeral mass will follow at 10:00 AM and burial will be at Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Cemetery in Moravia, Texas.
Serving as pallbearers are Noel Spann, Colby Spann, Austin Spann, Ted Poth, Everette Zatopek and honorary pallbearer Allen Zatopek.
