Ray and Family;
So sorry for your loss. My memory of Bernadette when my mother, dad and my aunt K spent a night at the old Freytag place when I was around six years old. I remember Bernadette's amazing faith in her ability to overcome the lemons of life. I read all the reports on her amazing struggle and didn't realize until yesterday as to who she was. Her grandfather, Frank Kubena was my grandfather John's brother. May she rest in peace

Dear Ray and Family,

May you receive solace through the remembrances of a wife, mother, and grandmother who made your days special with her love. I can still see her with her parents early each school day...always a smile even though FISD wasn't accessible by any means. My Dad recalls your trips to Bingo where Bernadette had a warm word with everyone. More recently, she and Dad spoke of your trip to the CR. And thank you, Ray, for your reports on Bernadette's condition. We prayed for the Lord's comfort and wisdom. How she must have struggled! But then, struggling was what she was good at...having struggled all her life!

Yes, Bernadette is at peace. By following her example, that peace will comfort you all in your daily lives.
