I am so sorry to hear of Corky’s passing. I got to know the Newtons better when I moved to Moulton in 2004. Corky was an awesome friend.

I was sad to hear that Mrs. Newton passed away but she lived a long and productive life. I had the pleasure of knowing Mr. and Mrs. Newton all of my life. " Corkey " as she was known to everyone was a beautiful, loving and giving women. I spent many Sundays at the family home in Moulton up on "Rustlers Hill" and hunted with Mr. Newton on many occasions. My mom and dad Lee and Taylor Biehunko were very good friends of Paul and Corky. I remember as a child going to the prison farm in Sugarland where Mr. Newton was in charge of the agriculture department and spending time right there on prison grounds which was exciting for a young kid. Mrs. Newton was simply a beautiful and kind women which she got from her mother Mrs. Boehm. I will cherish the memories I had with these two. You couldn't have found two finer people. May god bring his blessings on the entire family.
