Our sympathy to the family! Stevie was a great friend and neighbor. He will be missed. I’ve was fortunate to have been neighbors with him and his family all my life. Also was fortunate to have spent some time with him traveling to Victoria.
Funny, loved singing and playing his music.

Just read in the paper of Stevie's passing and wanted to extend our condolences to the entire family. I would run into Stevie frequently in Moulton buying HUGE bags of dogfood for his dogs and I will always remember a wedding we went to and we were all standing outside the hall and Stevie took a huge slurp of PIVO and had to sneeze. He aimed the sneeze upward and we were all blessed with a good shower of good old Shiner beer !!! Then there's the one about the bird pooping on Stevie's head.....

The world lost an always happy man. Barbara, yes, I'm still the little S_ _ _ you always used to call me when I would follow you and Maxine around and tattle on you two.

Remembering Stevie fondly,

Pat (Michalec) & Oscar Abbott

I have known Mr. Machart my entire life. He was a sweet man, talented musician and great neighbor to my grandparents. Back in the day, before my grandparents had a phone, he and his wife were gracious in relaying messages and checking up on my grandparents. May God grant him peace and wrap the Machart family in his love to comfort them at this difficult time.
