Just saw today.  I am so sorry to hear that he has passed away.  Prayers with the family.

Larry was my first friend and my best friend throughout the early years of my life. My aunt Alean was married to Larry's Uncle Fay Willis. We fished, damed up swimming holes down in the woods, dated girls from Mt. Holly (Jane and Linda). We were both in the USAF and remained friends always. Larry was that very special person who could calm a storm, convince one that things weren't quite as bad as they may seem, show charity, love and kindness. Larry, even as a young boy was a Christian and would chastise anyone using foul language. We were both raised by grandparents, we rode bikes to Spencer Mountain when most of the roads were dirt or gravel, fixing flats coming and going. I'm going to miss my dear friend Larry.

I loved talking to Mr Larry.  It reminded me of being back in NC. He will be missed by all who came into contact with him. Prayers for you all.
