Jerrold D. Kriegel

He was the beloved husband of Beverly Peltz-Kriegel; the loving father and father-in-law of Harry & Dorothy Kriegel, and Bruce & Adriana Kriegel; and the dear stepfather of Nicole Gotlin. Jerry was a cherished “Poppy” of Michelle & Dan, Daniel, Matthew and Jordan, a dear step-grandfather to Jonathan and Max, and an adoring “Great Poppy” to Hailey and Jacob. He was preceded in death by Myrna Kriegel, Barry Kriegel, Arlene Matz and Douglas Gotlin.

A proud graduate of Stuyvesant High School and a veteran of the armed forces, he served his country in the US Army. Jerry took great pride in being a Jewish American. He loved his country, his family and his friends. A dedicated and successful businessman he was instrumental in the success of Kriegel’s Distributors Inc., and later achieved significant success in real estate.

Jerry will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
