Kurt J Wolff, Esq., age 82, formerly of Washington Heights, New Rochelle, Chappaqua and Armonk NY, and La Quinta CA, loving son of the late Ernst and Florence Marx Wolff, husband of the late Sanda Dobrick Wolff, and father of Tracy and Brett, passed away on Sunday April 1st in Palm Desert California. Kurt was born in Mannheim Germany on March 7th, 1936. He met Sandy in 1956; she a student at University of Michigan, Ann Arbor LS&A College and he a student at the Law School. They married in 1958 in the Gold Coast room at The Drake Hotel, in Chicago on December 28. Kurt went on to become not only a brilliant and superb lawyer but an exceptional teacher and eventually the Chief Executive Officer of Otterbourg PC. In addition to his exceptional legal career he would say his greatest accomplishments were his children and his marriage of 58 years to his love Sandy. He also served as President of Congregation Anshe Sholom in New Rochelle where he and his wife had been members since 1970. He is survived by his daughter and son, his son-in-law Chris Rudy, and grandchildren Michael Powell and Samantha Rudy. A funeral service will be held at the Riverside Memorial Chapel in Mt. Vernon, NY at noon on Sunday April 8. Burial will be at Sharon Gardens Cemetery Valhalla, NY with the family sitting shiva from 3-7pm Sunday April 8, thru Thursday night April 12 from 1-3pm and 6-9pm in Kurt and Sandy’s home in Armonk. The family asks that charitable donations be made in his memory to Congregation Anshe Sholom - The Kurt and Sandy Wolff Judaic Studies Scholarship Fund.
