

Alec enjoyed cooking and baking and was known as a foodie. He also enjoyed spending time at the beach and he loved spending time with his family and friends. However, what he enjoyed most was being a father to his son Lincoln. This was one of his top priorities. Alec looked to personally and professionally grow, which lead him into a bachelor’s degree in I.T. He also leaned into being the best provider and caretaker for his family. Alec had a contagious smile and a laugh that will be deeply missed by all those that knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his mom Cherri Hood and his grandma and grandpa Ogle. He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving husband, Cole Cooper; son, Lincoln Hood; siblings, Holly Hood and Kyle Hood; grandmother, Toni Hood; grandfather, Joseph Hood; father, James Ogle; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 20, 2025, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home, Mt. Washington 123 Winning Colors Drive. Friends and family may pay their respects on Saturday December 20, 2025, from 12 noon until the time of service at 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
