Ms. Blake Christine Chitwood, age 27 of Mt. Washington, Ky returned to her Heavenly Father on Saturday, September 26, 2026. She was born in Louisville, Ky on March 5, 1999, to the late, Chris Chitwood and Karen Livers. Blake was full of life; she had a smile and personality that could light up the room. She was first a mother that provided everything for her daughter. She took most joy in being a big sister and mother to Kinley. Blake loved the lake, staying active and being a “sports” mom. She was an avid Louisville Cardinals fan. Her best memories were those she shared with her family and friends. She will truly be missed by all who knew her. Blake is preceded in death by her parents; grandfather, David Keith Livers; and bonus mom, Stephanie Kaelin. She is survived by her daughter Kinley “Bug” Wilson; siblings, Kalie Ritter, Bailey Chitwood and Kaden Chitwood; grandmother, Linda Livers; significant other, Dyllin Brewer; nieces and nephews, Sernity, Catlyan, B. Michael, Jaeda and Briair; numerous cousins; and a host of other family and friends. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, October 5th, 2026, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (123 Winning Colors Drive, Mt. Washington KY, 40047) with burial to follow in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Friends and family may pay their respects on Sunday, October 4th, 2026, from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Monday from 9:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
