Glenda Martin

Glenda Martin, age 78, of Louisville, Kentucky returned to her Heavenly Father on Sunday, May 3, 2026. Glenda was born in Whitesburg, Kentucky on November 5, 1947, to the late James and Eunice “Day” Webb. Glenda was a woman of faith and was a member of Radiant Life Church of God. She enjoyed partaking in church activities along with going on mission trips. One of her favorite hobbies was baking. She loved spending time with family and friends. Making memories with everyone was what brought Glenda the most joy. She will truly be missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents and children, James Hicks, Anthony Hicks and Sandra Blanford. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband, Mike Martin; grandchildren, Amanda Thompson (Eric), Joshua Blanford and Jacob Blanford; great grandchildren, Kaylee Thompson, Peyton Thompson and Madelyn Thompson; and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 10am on Saturday, May 9, 2026, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (123 Winning Colors Drive, Mt. Washington KY., 40047) with burial to follow at Mt. Washington Cemetery. Friends and Family may pay their respects on Friday from 1pm until 8pm and on Saturday from 9am until time of service at the funeral home.
