Mrs. Linda Sue Boes, age 73, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky returned to her Heavenly Father on Monday, July 27, 2026. She was born on March 7, 1953, to the late John and Hazel (Belcher) Christmas. Linda was full of life and had a huge personality. She enjoyed playing games, puzzles, watching movies and going to concerts. She was always ready to attend a good car show and loved hanging out with her friends. Linda loved to dance and listen to all types of music. Her greatest memories were those made with her family. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Mrs. Boes is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Wimpy Christmas. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband of 52 years, Mark Boes; children, Robert Boes (Olivia) and Dee-Dee Williamson (Justin); grandchildren, Emily and Christopher Williamson; sisters, Patricia Hall (Bob) and Merry Klingsmith (Alan); brother, Chuck Christmas; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at 11:00 am in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (123 Winning Colors Drive, Mt. Washington KY, 40047) with burial at Highland Memory Gardens. Family and friends may pay their respects on Monday, August 3, 2026, from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm and again on Tuesday from 9:00 am until the time of service. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hosparus of Louisville in honor of Mrs.Linda Boes.
