75 of Mount Washington, went to be with Jesus, joining those who went before him on October 27, 2026, while surrounded by his loved ones.
Marc was preceded in death by his parents, Miles Jones and Norma Jean Martin, brothers Doug and Dana, his In-laws Jesus and ElFrieda Peña, and sister-in-law Paula Pena Houchin.
Left to cherish his memory is his Queen, Maria Peña Jones (33 years); sons Chris and Adam Jones, grandchildren, Aaron, and Autumn, Uncle Howard Martin, and favorite in-laws, Norman Peña (Denise), Laura Schoedinger (Kevin), Rob Peña (Kristy), special niece Jessica Mobley (Alex), and many nieces and nephews.
Marc was a proud US Marine and he battled his illness with the heart of a Marine, often saying "you can't keep this Marine down". He was an avid golfer, loved doing work around the house and loved his pets.
Marc loved working beside Maria at their pet salon of 21 years, Miss Lili's Pet Salon, alongside their longtime loyal employee Ashley Finney, and most recently Tara Miles. He was the most wonderful pet Dad, and he will be truly missed by them all. ❤️
Funeral Service will take place at Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home on Wednesday November 4, 2026 beginning at 12:00 p.m. Burial with full military honors will follow at Mount Washington Cemetery.
A visitation for Marc will be held at Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home, 123 Winning Colors Dr., Mt. Washington, KY 40047, on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. And again on Wednesday from 10:00 am until the funeral hour beginning at 12:00p.m.
