Mary Angela Frye

Mrs. Mary Angela Frye, age 56, of Louisville, Kentucky, returned to her Heavenly Father Wednesday, March 11, 2026. Mrs. Frye was born December 24, 1969, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late James and Mary “Fran” Briggs. Angie attended Believers Church with her family. She was strong in her family and involved in church functions. She enjoyed taking walks, attending Christian Concerts and listening to music. As a dedicated Esthetician, she loved helping people embrace their beauty from the inside out. Angie loved most spending time and making memories with her family. Angie will be missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents. Angie leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband, Chris Frye; daughter, Hope Frye; siblings, Michael Briggs (Pam), Michelle Kaelin (Ronnie) and Leigh Ann Gutermuth (John); nieces, Meagan Underwood (Travis), Abbey Hogan (Michael) and Julian Gutermuth; numerous great nieces and nephews; lifelong friends, Leslie Sheehan (Terry); and host of other family and friends.

Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home, Mt. Washington (123 Winning Colors Drive, Mt. Washington, Kentucky.) has been entrusted with the arrangements. A Celebration of Life service for Angie will be held on Saturday, April 11th, 2026, at 2:00 pm. The service will take place at The Believers Church (7905 Smyrna Parkway Louisville, Kentucky 40228.)
